Ana Mari Cauce

Ana Mari Cauce is the 33rd president of the UW. A professor of psychology and member of the UW faculty since 1986, she was named president in October 2015.

Under her leadership, the UW is advancing all areas of its educational, research and service missions, with initiatives focused on innovation, race and equity, and population health.

Jimmy Lake

On Dec. 2, 2019, Jimmy Lake was announced as the UW Football Head Coach. In his six prior seasons at Washington – two as defensive backs coach, two as co-defensive coordinator and the last two as defensive coordinator – Lake has earned a reputation as a teacher, recruiter and tactician, helping the UW become one of the strongest and most consistent defensive teams – and specifically one of the top secondaries – in the nation. Before coming to the UW, Lake was a coach at Boise State, Montana State and Eastern Washington, along with an earlier stint with the Huskies in 2004. He also coached with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions in the NFL.

Damon Huard, ’95

Damon Huard is the UW’s Director of Community & External Relations and Special Advisor to the Athletic Director. Huard started at quarterback for UW from 1991 to 1995 before going on to a 12-year professional career. He was also color analyst for Husky Football alongside Bob Rondeau before Tony Castricone from 2010 to 2019.
