Employees are asked to give a minimum of two weeks notice for resignation. Resignation from UW employment is final unless your employment program allows for a time period during which you can rescind your resignation, or your supervisor allows you to rescind your resignation.
If you are a contract classified employee, you should check your union contract provisions relating to resignation. If you are transferring from one University position to another, you should understand whether you will serve a trial period in the new position and what the terms of the trial period are.
