Do you need accommodations for a medical condition or disability to help you be successful in your job? The Disability Services Office can help you explore reasonable accommodation resources, including assistive equipment, interpreter services, and parking or transportation.
Hall Health Services
Hall Health Center is an on-campus outpatient clinic offering high-quality health care and wellness services to UW employees. Services available include physical therapy, health assessments and physicals, and counseling and therapy for mental health concerns. Hall Health Center accepts most major health insurance plans.
While it may be hard to leave your baby when you return to work, you shouldn't have to give up breastfeeding. UW supports breastfeeding moms with a convenient lactation program. Find an onsite lactation station, learn about accessories you may need, and explore other resources for nursing moms.
UW Speech and Hearing Clinic Services
The UW Speech and Hearing Clinic, a teaching outpatient clinic, provides excellent on-campus care at affordable rates. It offers evaluation and treatment services for children and adults with speech, languages, hearing, and related communication needs, including hearing aid testing, fitting, and repair. UW employees also may receive a complimentary hearing screening; space is limited, so reserve your spot in advance.
UW Women's Center
The UW Women's Center offers a safe space and point of contact for students and community members in addressing sensitive issues in their lives, such as depression and eating disorders. It houses a large collection of resources that enable the staff to connect those in need with appropriate services.
