Human Resources

Human Resources is both an internally as well as an outwardly engaged function of the Office of UW Technology. It is a resource that has considerable expertise and experience in the recruitment, hiring, retention, classification, re-classification, and the full range of personnel issues relating to Information Technology, Information Systems, and Information Management staff.  It has excellent working relationships with UW's overall HR group, and it serves not only as the HR group for the Office of the Vice President of UW Technology but also as a collaborator with and consultant to other units across the UW that seek help navigating HR issues, practices, and policies regarding technology staff.
