IT Accessibility
The Accessible Technology group seeks to help the UW provide world-class accessibility to students, staff, faculty, and clinicians who need assistive technology in their university life. To achieve that we collaborate with a number of other UW units to assure the availability of assistive technology and to consult on the development of accessible Web sites and other software. With funding from a variety of sources, we conduct regional, national, and international projects to promote the use of accessible technology in increasing the success of individuals with disabilities in college and careers.
Primary service units within Accessible Technology include:
- The UW Access Technology Lab (ATL)
- DO-IT (Disabilities, Opportunities, Internetworking and Technology) Center
