UW Farm Tour

Join UW farm manager Perry Acworth for a tour of the UW Farm, and learn about the crops, the campus food system, and how the farm feeds the community and food insecure. Academic components will also be discussed with possible observation of and interaction with an urban farming course.

The UW Farm is a 1.5 acre student-powered urban farm & educational facility located on the University of Washington’s Seattle Campus. Food and flowers grown on three sites is used by UW Housing & Food Services and Athletics, the UW Food Pantry, other local food banks and also sold via a CSA subscription program. We invite you to learn more about the vital role the Student Farm plays in the broader community and in education at the UW.

The farm has resources and ways to be involved. Find out more on their website.
