Enterprise Application Services
Overview
Enterprise Application Services (EAS) provides leadership for the applications architecture of the
enterprise application systems and assists IM programs to choose and implement systems that are consistent with the
architecture, resulting in administrative systems that are reliable, secure, well-integrated, and fit for purpose.
EAS provides leadership to the Enterprise Integration portion of the
Enterprise Information Management initiative to provide methods for securely sharing
information between systems.
EAS supports the mainframe server that is the backbone for UW’s HR/Payroll, Finance, and Student administrative systems. EAS also provides the central administrative systems supporting Advancement and Facilities.
