2010 Alternative Spring Break
The Pipeline Project is recruiting UW undergraduates to volunteer in literacy arts and environmental science projects in rural communities throughout Washington during their spring break. We will have 11 teams of 5 students.
The Projects
Dates: Students will work in a school from March 21 - 26, 2010.
Where: Sites range from the Olympic Peninsula to Eastern Washington and includes Forks, La Push, Neah Bay, Brewster, Bridgeport, Curlew, Tonasket, Paschal Sherman and Toppenish.
Lodging: Students will stay with host families, UW housing or on-site dormitory housing.
Costs: All lodging and transportation costs will be covered for UW students. Food costs will be funded by group fundraising.
