Do you remember your middle school experience? Would you like to be a positive role model for an 8th grader who is struggling in school? Are you interested in working with a research based state-of the-art prevention program? The CAST (Coping and Support Training) Middle School Study is an exciting research project currently being conducted in Seattle area schools. You will have the opportunity to learn about relevant research, hold discussions about specific student needs, and gain skills specific to meeting the needs of at-risk students. Students will be assigned to tutor 8th graders from one of the CAST Middle School Study partner schools. Schools are located within the greater Seattle area.
