The Kaiser Company's shipyard in Portland, Oregon was one of the many wartime industries which drew people into the Pacific Northwest. This symbol was originally reproduced in "The Yard" section of The Bo's'n's Whistle a publication put out by the Oregon Shipbuilding Corporation, the Kaiser subsidiary in Oregon.
