Volunteer opportunities available at
University District Youth Center
The University District Youth Center is a busy place, housing a drop-in center, counseling services, an alternative school for the Seattle Public School system and a pre-employment program through the YWCA. There are 14 staff members and close to a hundred youth that cycle through the building daily. The help received from volunteer groups makes all the difference in keeping the space an inspirational and suitable environment.

All new volunteers receive two days of training and are IRS certified, so no tax experience is necessary. For more information or to sign up, visit United Way's Tax Volunteer site.
