instead of loading them from CD. This fixes some potential
registry problems in NT. It should also help with systems that
have corrupt OLE components.
- Current Bugs:
- On a small number of Windows 98 machines with AOL system
software installed, UW Dial-up Internet fails with error code
645. This is caused by incompatability between the "AOL
Adapter" and Microsoft's "Dial-Up Adapter". Workaround is to
uninstall AOL, install UWICK, then reinstall AOL if desired. On
some systems, merely restarting UW Dial-up Internet is
sufficent to clear up the problem.

- Extra Stuff components tested against Windows 98.
- Current Bugs:
- On a small number of Windows 98 machines, UWICK splash
screen will not start. Usually due to corrupt or out of date
system .DLLs.
- In NT or 95/98 using multiple user profiles, IE will not
start on some systems for users besides the one that installed
the UWICK. Workaround is to manually set the Internet Control
Panel connection properties for each user, or install the
Internet Connection Wizard. To install the ICW, run IE (as the
user that can) and select Help...Product Updates.
