MIT Kerberos 5 is used with other software to provide secure connections (e.g., Fetch, MacSSH).Version
MITKerberos5 for Mac OS X with new "Kerberos Extras" for 10.2,
10.3, and REQUIRED for 10.4 (Tiger)
System Requirements
License Details
Current UW students, faculty and staff are eligible to use the software on UW-owned computers or on their personal computer to access University services.- There is no charge for the software.
Getting the Software
We offer two options for getting the software:- Download the software from our server. You must acknowledge agreement to the Export Regulations before you download.
- Purchase the UW Internet Connectivity Kit which contains MIT Kerberos 5 and many other useful utilities.
