Software Overview
The University of Washington agreement for SPSS software covers the most current Windows platforms. See theSPSS Web site for more information on SPSS products.
The package consists of SPSS Statistics Base and the following modules for Windows:
- Advanced Statistics -- provides a set of sophisticated univariate and multivariate analysis techniques
- SPSS Custom Tables -- recalculates and reformats tables, handles cross-tabulations and multiple-response data
- SPSS Forecasting -- analyzes information using time series analysis
- SPSS Regression -- predict behaviors, actions or attitudes with multidimensional scaling
- SPSS Tables Original
- SPSS Trends Original
AMOS and any additional modules not listed are not included in our site license and may be purchased directly from SPSS. Contact SPSS for pricing information.
Version and System Requirements
Version 18.0 for Windows and Mac Intel
License Details
UW matriculated, currently registered graduate students, faculty and staff are eligible to participate in this site license. Undergraduates, UW Affiliates not paid by the UW, visiting scholars, distance learning, and extension students are ineligible to purchase this software.- For use on computers owned or leased by the UW or on the graduate student, faculty or staff person's personal computer.
- Modules not offered under this license are available directly through SPSS Inc. at an academic discounted price. Contact SPSS for details.
- A package called the GradPack is sold at the University Book Store Computer Center. This software is sold outside of the site license and is available to all university students.
- UWare Licensing administers this license.
- $70 for faculty and staff from the UWare Store.
- $70 for currently registered, matriculated graduate students at the Book Store. Includes media.
- $225 for departmental/lab 5-Pack from the UWare Store.
Getting the Software
- For faculty and staff individual license purchases and for departmental/lab 5-Packs purchase through the UWare storefront.
- Graduate students purchase at the Book Store. Complete the registration form either at the Book Store, or print the individual license form. A copy of your UW ID and photo ID is needed with the form when you make your purchase.
Updates
New version upgrades are purchased as new licenses.
