Pine - Program for Internet News and Email
Pine and Pico (Pine's message composition editor) were designed at the University of Washington. The Pine Information Center Web pages provide documentation.This directory contains a self-installing version of PC-Pine customized for the University of Washington networking environment.
To install PC-Pine:
- Download the installer.
- Run the file by double-clicking it.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
This version of PC-Pine is configured specifically to work with UW servers* and is available to UW students, faculty and staff. If you are unsure of which version to download, you should download the non-kerberos version. It is offered on the UW Internet Connectivity Kit, or from here:
