Software Overview
Mathematica reads lines of input, waiting until a syntactically complete expression has been entered, then evaluates the expression. See the vendor's Web site for additional information.Version - 7.0
Supported Platforms and System Requirements
License Details
Currently registered UW students, faculty and staff are eligible to use Mathematica on University-owned equipment.- Faculty and academic staff may use the software on their home machines at no cost unless they are currently enrolled as a student
- The College of Engineering and Arts and Sciences purchased this site license for the period through 6/30/2010. The College of Engineering distributes user/system licenses to qualifying individuals
- There is no charge when used on University-owned computers
- Students may purchase the Mathematica Student Version from the University Book Store
- Upon expiration of the license agreement on 6/30/2010, all use of the software under this agreement must cease. Users will be able to convert to individual licenses for a fee
Getting the Software
- Faculty and staff may download Mathematica through the UWare storefront.
- To renew Mathematica you need to order it through UWare and when you get your receipt, look under the additional installation instructions for the license number, then go to the specified Wolfram registration site and get your new password.
- Students may purchase the Mathematica Student Version from the University Book Store
