Software Overview

Internet Explorer (IE) is Microsoft's Internet client for browsing the World Wide Web. The University of Washington is currently distributing IE 6.0SP1 and IE 7.

License Details

For current UW students, faculty, and staff only. No registration necessary.

Getting the Software

To get IE/OE configured to UW specifications, purchase the UW Internet Connectivity Kit sold at the University Book Store Computer Center.
