Software Overview
Students, faculty and staff at the University of Washington can access the complete collection of current and archived BugNet information by subscribing to the UW BugNet Alert email list.The main components of BugNet are:
- BugNet Alerts -- For important bugs with the potential for serious or widespread damage, BugNet Alerts are sent via email describing the problem and solution.
- BugNet Database -- A collection of PC bug fixes providing step-by-step procedures to avoid or recover from bug-related problems.
- BugNet Analysis -- a monthly Newsletter of in-depth reports with lists of significant bugs and additional features.
License Details
For current UW student, faculty or staff- Cost - Free
- The BugNet license is provided by the Graduate School.
Getting BugNet
Subscribe to the UW BugNet list to receive BugNet Alerts via email, and get the username and password for the subscriber area of the BugNet website. If you are not a current UW student, faculty or staff member, you will not be able to complete the registration.
