Undergraduate Research Program
Poster design workshops
Poster Design Workshops are open to anyone interested in learning how to design a poster, including:
- What computer program should I use?
- What information do I include?
- How do I draw the attention of the audience through the use of a visual?
Posters are a method of communication just like books, movies or web sites. The better your poster design, the more likely your audience will understand your project.
The workshop is tailored to students who are participating in the Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium but all are welcome to attend. The Undergraduate Research Program has specific requirements for posters that are displayed at the Symposium that will also be covered in the workshop.
For more information and resources on poster design and printing, see the Symposium Information For Poster Presenters.
If you have further questions about designing a poster, email firstname.lastname@example.org to make an appointment to speak with URP staff.
