Undergraduate Research Program

Center for Selective C-H Functionalization

The Center for Selective C-H Functionalization (CCHF) is an NSF-Funded Center for Chemical Innovation (CCI). It aims to bring about a paradigm shift in the logic of chemical synthesis, one that has the potential to impact the construction of all organic molecules. The Center brings together leading experts in a range of chemical disciplines from across the United States to work collaboratively on challenges beyond the scope of individual investigators. Collaborative research is carried out between 23 research groups spread over 15 institutions from across the United States.

CCHF is co-hosted with URP. Co-hosted programs originate from various local and national organizations wishing to provide transformative research experiences for undergraduates. URP helps manage the operations–including logistics, comprehensive student advising and support– to ensure that students have a successful summer research experience at the UW. Email urp@uw.edu if you are interested in co-hosting a summer research program with us.
