During the first order of business, Matt Saavedra from the Office of the Registrar discussed his role and his upcoming projects here at the University of Washington including learning websites, video tutorials, and training programs.
Next, Cathy Beyer and John Peterson discussed an overview of the assessments and comparisons done between students who are involved or not involved with a FIG (Freshmen Interest Group) and/or ALL (Academic Learning Links) program during their first quarter at the University of Washington keeping in mind student satisfaction and social and academic growth.
