During the first order of business, announcements were given and Ed Taylor updated the Council on the Two Years to Two Decades initiative and also discussed Activity Based Budgeting. He also noted that Gateway Advising and OMA/D Counseling will be co-located in Mary Gates Hall, with renovations to the new space beginning as early as June 2010.

Next, Joyce Fagel, Megan McConnell and Donna Sharpe led a discussion regarding Transfer Thursdays and what possible Links participation might look like. Ways in which Links might best work with transfer students were suggested and discussed such as the possibility of moving Transfer Thursdays to Friday afternoons.

Lastly, Carrie mentioned that she will draft a message for UAAC Links representatives to send to their groups regarding the conversations with the Gateway transfer advising team.
