As May 15 and 22 are in the middle of the busy registration period for UW students choosing autumn classes, prospective transfer students should know that the wait to see advisers on these days may be long. Students wishing to attend solely the Admissions session or departmental information sessions will experience no delays, but students wanting to meet one-on-one with an academic adviser should consider coming another Thursday if at all possible.
Welcome to Transfer Thursdays! Please check the schedule below to find out what sessions and services will be offered on the day you plan to visit.
Some sessions you can count on being offered every week. These include a Transfer Admission session, drop-in advising at the Gateway Center, advising by appointment at the Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity1, information sessions on undergraduate and graduate programs in the UW Business School, and a walking tour of campus. Drop-in advising is also available from specific programs and colleges: Biology, the College of Engineering, Environmental Studies, the College of Forest Resources, Sociology, and Community, Environment and Planning.
Please note that sessions in red are offered only one Thursday this quarter.
