Welcome to UW, new freshmen!

During your orientation, we highly recommend that you attend the optional prehealth session that will help to get you started at UW.

It is important that you have a few weeks of classes under your belt before you complete your prehealth reflection document; therefore, we ask that you do not submit it before week 3 of the quarter. We encourage you to submit the reflection some time during your freshman year. Of course, you are welcome to watch the video right away!

Come meet with a general adviser in our office anytime.

I'm pre-med/pre-dent. How do I access advising services? Click on the links below to view the online information session. Before watching it, be sure to review the Pre-Health Reflection and Plan document. Watch the video. Thoughtfully fill out the plan and submit it. Your submission will be evaluated and you will be contacted with information on how to set up an appointment (or you may be asked to watch the video again and make a second try on the plan). In the meantime, there is a wealth of information on the website and the blog, both of which are open-access!

Please note that due to limited resources, advising appointments are only available to matriculated undergraduate UW-Seattle students and alumni.

We look forward to working with you!
