UAA Advising is a good place to start if you are having academic or administrative problems. The UW's a big, complicated place, and advisers can help you learn how things work here. If you're struggling in your classes, we can try to help you pinpoint the issues and aim you toward solutions. If you're experiencing some kind of distress and you want help, advisers can work with you to locate the resources best suited to help you. If you're on academic warning or probation, or if you've been dropped and want to talk about reinstatement, you can talk to an adviser about your options. If you're in the midst of some kind of administrative tangle, we can help you find your way out. Whatever the issue, an adviser can help you weigh the possibilities and get the information you need.

The most important message is: don't ignore the problem. The best time to deal with any difficulties you're having is now.
