Nominations are due by 5 p.m. on December 14, 2012, for the University of Washington’s teaching awards, administered by the Center for Teaching and Learning.
The Center for Teaching and Learning, a partnership between Undergraduate Academic Affairs, The Graduate School, and University Libraries, administers the Distinguished Teaching Award, Excellence in Teaching Award, and S. Sterling Munro Award for Public Service, among others.
The Distinguished Teaching Award for Innovation, created by the Office of the Provost, is new this year. It recognizes a faculty member who, individually or as part of a team, has developed an innovative project that advances student learning. Additionally, the recipient should promote leadership in undergraduate teaching and encourage the dissemination of best practices by sharing promising innovations with UW faculty.
Learn more about each of these awards and submit nominations online on the Center for Teaching and Learning website.
