Three New Telephone Prefixes for UW Campuses


This summer, UW Bothell got its own telephone prefix (352), as did UW Tacoma (692), and UW Seattle got a new prefix (221) to be used exclusively for new telephone lines.

Calling a Branch Campus

When calling UW Bothell or UW Tacoma from a campus phone, you may dial the last five digits of the number.

New UW Seattle Prefix 221 Allows for Growth

To allow for continued expansion, a new UW Seattle telephone prefix (221) is being assigned to new phone lines. All campus telephone numbers that begin with the 543, 616, 685, or 934 prefix remain the same.
