More Macs and X Terminals at the ACC Building

Starting Spring Quarter, 13 Macintosh SE computers in the Macintosh Training Lab on the ground floor of the ACC Building and 18 NCD monochrome X terminals in the X Terminal Training Lab on the second floor will be available for general use.

The Mac and X terminal labs will be closed to general use only when the help desk is not staffed (generally between midnight and 8:00 A.M. on weekdays and midnight to noon on weekends) or when labs are being used for classes.

Other Macintosh computers and X terminals in the lobby of the ACC Building are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In total, the ACC Building offers 30 Macintosh computers (13 SEs and 17 IIsis), 42 X terminals, and 19 386 PCs with DOS and Windows 3.1 for general use by the UW community.
