The Teaching Academy is a unit of Undergraduate Academic Affairs and an active partner within the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL). Dedicated to supporting the mission, values, and vision of the CTL, the Teaching Academy is comprised of the recipients of the Distinguished Teaching Awards, Excellence in Teaching Awards, the S. Sterling Munro Public Service Teaching Award, and the James D. Clowes Award for the Advancement of Learning Communities.
Teaching Academy members work in collaboration with the CTL and often assist in facilitating workshops, leading seminars, and planning programs such as the Faculty Fellows Program and Large Class Collegium. Members also serve as mentor and consultant to other instructors.
