2009 Humanity in Action Fellows
Mina Barahimi (Law, Societies & Justice major) and Sarah Howard (CHID and Latin American Studies major) are the most recent UW undergraduates to be selected to participate in the 2009 Humanity in Action (HIA) program. HIA works to build global leadership, defend democracy, protect minorities and improve human rights. By giving American and European students the opportunity to interact with human rights leaders of today, HIA inspires, engages and empowers the human rights leaders of the future.
