2009 Fulbright U.S. Student Program Scholars
The Fulbright Program for U.S. Students is the largest U.S. international exchange program offering opportunities for United States students to undertake international graduate study, advanced research and teaching in elementary and secondary schools worldwide.
2009 UW Undergraduate Fulbright Scholars & Alternates:
- Monica Barrett, awarded a Fulbright grant to do Business/Management research in the European Union (Business major)
- Sandley Chou, selected as an alternate for a Fulbright grant to do Islamic Studies research in the Philippines (International Studies & History major)
- Alexandra Duncan, awarded a Fulbright grant to teach English in Germany (European Studies & Germanics major)
- Alva Robinson, awarded a Fulbright grant to do pop culture research in the Kyrgyz Republic (1st year graduate student in Near Eastern Languages & Civilization)
- Cameron Rule, awarded a Fulbright grant to do Linguistics research in Estonia (Russian major, Linguistics minor)
