School of Music Scholarships and Awards

Website: UW School of Music

Description

The School of Music holds annual in-person scholarship auditions during Winter Quarter for the following academic year. Each year approximately 100 scholarships are awarded, including several prestigious awards such as the Brechemin and Boeing scholarships. The recipients, both graduate and undergraduate, are determined by faculty divisions and the Scholarship Committee recommendation on the basis of auditions, or academic standing. Non-performance divisions also have scholarship funds. Auditions are not required for students in non-performance divisions. Each division within the school receives funds to award to students in their division.
