Description
The Washington State Mathematics Council and the Puget Sound Council of Teachers of Mathematics are proud to offer again the Rita Lowe Scholarship program.
Eligibility
Any student who is currently attending a college or university within Washington State and is majoring in Mathematics Education and pursuing teaching certification in order to become a professional mathematics educator (teaching mathematics at the elementary or secondary level) is eligible to apply for the College Division Scholarship.

Procedure
Applicants are to complete the application form and return that form and all other required documentation to the address below.
- The applicant should request that an official transcript documenting all high school and college work, be submitted to Pat Reistroffer at the address given on the application and above.
- The applicant should complete the application form and send it, accompanied by the 300-word statement and the list and description of academic awards and honors, to the same address.
- The applicant should request that the two required letters of recommendation be submitted to the same address.
