Merit Scholarships, Fellowships & Awards

Any student who is currently attending a college or university within Washington State and is majoring in Mathematics Education and pursuing teaching certification in order to become a professional mathematics educator (teaching mathematics at the elementary or secondary level) is eligible to apply for the College Division Scholarship.

Students are evaluated on:

• Academic achievement
• Interest in Mathematics Education
• Character, Leadership and Teacher Potential

*International students may be eligible for this scholarship*

Applicants are to complete the application form and return that form and all other required documentation to the address below.

• The applicant should request that an official transcript documenting all high school and college work, be submitted to Pat Reistroffer at the address given on the application and above.
• The applicant should complete the application form and send it, accompanied by the 300-word statement and the list and description of academic awards and honors, to the same address.
• The applicant should request that the two required letters of recommendation be submitted to the same address.
