Description
The Board of Governors of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Seattle Chapter, with the cooperation of the University of Washington School of Communications, and the families of Elizabeth Wright Evans, Pat Egan, Arthur Pattison, and Don McCune have established the NATAS -Seattle Scholarship Fund.
Eligibility
Applicants of the scholarship must be enrolled in a four-year television broadcasting or broadcast journalism major at a university in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Alaska. UW students in the UW School of Communications or other UW schools who can demonstrate that they are pursuing an educational program leading directly to a career in television production or television journalism will be considered. An internship with a television broadcast station or cable news channel will be a strong supporting element.
