The Undergraduate Scholarship Office (USO) helps UW undergraduates develop the tools and personal insights necessary to match their goals with local and national merit-based scholarship opportunities. National scholarship opportunities include the Fulbright, Goldwater, Marshall, Rhodes, Truman, and many others.

At USO, we:

  • Mentor students through an intense process that results in competitive applications for national scholarships;
  • Support students by offering resources, advising, and individual feedback through the scholarship process;
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and support potential student scholars;
  • Provide information and resources to students via workshops, fairs, web pages, and one-on-one assistance; and
  • Maintain a database of merit-based scholarships available to eligible UW undergraduates.
