How to check your tuition balance

You may check your tuition balance using MyUW at http://myuw.washington.edu

Your tuition balance at the beginning of the quarter should reflect your tuition waiver. If your balance is still reflecting full tuition or you have received less than what you think you may be entitled to, contact your department. They can make sure the paperwork has been sent through to the Payroll Office and explain the details of your award. Please also verify with your department that your social security number and student number are the same in both the HEPPS and SDB systems.

If your appointment is late, be sure and pay YOUR portion by the tuition due date to avoid late fees.

How to pay your balance

You may pay your balance either by check, money order, cash, electronically from your bank account, or by credit card over the internet. If you mail your check or place it in the drop slot outside Student Fiscal Services in Schmitz Hall, please write your student number on the check. If there are not sufficient funds in your bank account to cover your check, you will be charged a return item fee of $25 and possible late payment fees by the Student Fiscal Services Office. Your bank may also charge you additional fees. Student Fiscal Services does not accept debit cards.
