| Outreach Education and
Services The Outreach staff is dedicated to helping students and
the University community understand and use the wide variety of on-line
and in-person UW fiscal services. Group Presentations:
- Prepares and delivers presentations on SFS services to students,
advisors, and other interested audiences
- Develops and offers sessions
for students on managing their finances effectively
- Each session is
customized to the audience and time allotted
- SFS services presentation will take from 15 minutes to 1 hour
- Managing finances presentation will take from 30 minutes to
1.5 hours
Written Information:
- Develops and distributes written material about SFS services for use by students,
parents, advisors and others including:
- Information cards and posters on direct deposit of aid
- Bookmarks with information on offices in Schmitz Hall
- Brochures describing SFS
- Brochures describing the handling of scholarship monies
- FAQ flyer
- Posters on tution due date, late charges, payment options
Participates in UW Activites including:
- Student and parent organizations
- Gear Up programs for middle and high school students
- High school college nights
- DAWG Daze
Seeks Feedback and Measures Effectiveness:
- Conducts yearly student satisfaction surveys and reports results
- Facilitates quarterly meetings of SFS Advisory Board
- Coordinates and reports on SFS quarterly and annual measures
