Welcome

The University of Washington Student Fiscal Services Office welcomes you to this online Exit Counseling session. Our goal is to explain your rights and obligations for repayment of your campus-based student loans -- that is, loans that are repayable directly to the UW. We want you to enter the repayment phase of your student loan with all of the information that you need to manage your account successfully. Please remember, if you have any questions or need assistance during your repayment, we're here to help!

How the Online Counseling Session Works

  1. There are eight sections of general loan repayment information in this counseling session.
  2. At the end of the counseling session you will be directed to the website of our billing servicer, Campus Partners, to obtain and electronically submit your exit documents:
    • Loan Disclosure Statement - available online (you will also have the option of requesting this document in a paper format if you prefer)
    • Personal Data Sheet - contact and reference information
    • Statement of Rights & Responsibilities - important disclosure information about the terms of your loan(s)
  3. Please Note: you have borrowed from a federal Health Profession or federal Nursing Loan program, you are required by federal regulation to certify that you have completed the exit counseling session. Failure to do so before leaving the University of Washington will result in a hold on your student records. You can avoid this inconvenience by completing and returning the required exit documents promptly.
