Winter 2021 Final Examination Schedule

Final Examination Week -- March 13 - 19, 2021

• The last day of instruction is Friday, March 12.
• Final exam schedules are determined based on the first listed class meeting day, time and location.
• The time of the final exam is determined based on the first class meeting day, time and location pattern as listed in the Time Schedule. (For example, if your class meets during the quarter on Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:30 - 12:20, and Fridays, 11:30 - 12:20, you would use the first meeting listed in the Time Schedule, and look at the time for MW, 10:30 start time.)
• If no meeting time is listed for a class (e.g., an asynchronous remote-learning class), the instructor may use any time slot within the finals schedule, Monday through Friday. However, the instructor must also provide an alternate time for any student that may have another final scheduled at that time.
• Common Finals - Some classes that have multiple sections have a single final. These are scheduled on the Saturday of finals week. Students should check their schedule and/or syllabus for common finals.
• Makeups/Incomplete Removals/Conflicts - When mutually agreeable to faculty members and students concerned and scheduled no later than Friday, March 19.
• Saturday Courses - Saturday courses may schedule their examination for the first Saturday of the Examination week, but must make arrangements with Room Assignments to check on room availability. Dean's office approval is not required for Saturday only courses.
• Classes that begin on the hour use the first following half-hour to determine the time of examination. For example, a class that begins at 10:00 a.m. uses the 10:30 a.m. examination time.
• Students are responsible for taking any number of examinations scheduled on a given day.
