Introduction to Creative Writing

Introduces several genres and explores the creative writing process and terminology of imaginative expression.

Class description

Explores the genres of poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. Students discuss craft, assigned writings, and share both critical and creative work with their class members. The final project is a portfolio of their own creative and critical work.
