Class description

TC 402 is intended for majors and minors in the UW Department of Technical Communication, and it presupposes that the students possess an extensive background and advanced skill level in writing. TC 402 is a course in technical editing and does not focus on improving grammar, style, or other writing skills; these skills are treated as the foundation for learning the new set of skills and concepts that make up technical editing and are best addressed in other courses such as TC 400 or TC 401.
