Advanced Practicum in Speech Pathology Management

Laboratory experience in the management of speech and language disorders. Credit/no credit only. Prerequisite: permission of instructor.

Class description

552 is an offsite clinical practicum with an on-campus class component. It is available only to Medical Speech-Language Pathology graduate students. Students will spend 12-15 hours per week (Autumn, Winter, Spring) and 24-40 hours per week (Summer) at an offsite clinical facility and will participate in a bi-weekly seminar. The seminar is designed to support student learning across a variety of community-based clinical settings.
