Class description
This class will focus on the perceptual changes in hearing of individuals with cochlear impairment and relate those changes to the underlying physiological mechanisms. Lectures will aim to provide a theoretical framework for understanding and interpreting the perceptual changes in hearing impaired individuals so that students will understand the basic mechanisms involved and how these mechanisms apply to clinical audiology.
