Problems in Romance Linguistics

Group seminar, or individual conferences are scheduled under this number to meet special needs. Prerequisite: permission of graduate program coordinator. Offered: jointly with LING 531.

Class description

Autumn 2001

This seminar will investigate current issues in L2 acquisition research in phonology, morphology and syntax. Focusing on generative theory, it will look at L1 transfer, processing, interlanguage grammars and the role of universal principles, among other topics.
