Class description

In this course you will learn about how the visual system works. We will follow the representation of a visual stimulus along the pathway from the retina through the geniculate and on to the visual areas in the cortex. You will learn how the way we perceive lightness, contrast, color, motion, depth, faces and objects are reflected in the neurophysiological responses at each stage in the visual pathway.
