Class description
Description: This course explores two broad themes of women in American politics. The first is how women have engaged politics as political actors both outside of government and as elected representatives. The second broad theme this course will explore is the development of women’s policy.

General Method of Instruction: The bulk of the class will be discussion. Some lecture materials will be presented. Participation in discussion is required.

Preparation: Completion of POS 202 is recommended.

Grading: Grades will be based upon a series of discussion papers, participation, and a final exam.
