Advanced Topics in Philosophy

A study of philosophical topics at the advanced level. Topics vary.

Class description

This course will introduce the central concepts and themes of Jewish philosophy. It will focus either on debates within a particular historical period-e.g. medieval or modern-or on a topic-e.g., reactions to the Enlightenment or to the Holocaust. At least one previous course in Philosophy or Jewish Studies is recommended.
