Physiologic Adaptations in Women and Children: Physiologic Adaptations During Pregnancy and Postpartum

Analyzes the developmental physiologic adaptations in four units: women/reproductive processes, pregnancy/postpartum, fetus/neonate, and infancy through adolescence. Emphasis on implications for nursing practice. Examination of evidence-base for selected intervention strategies.
