Fundamentals of oral and written Norwegian. First in a sequence of three.
Class description
Norwegian 101 is the beginning of a three-part course sequence at the University of Washington that focuses on providing introductory vocabulary, grammar, and language structure of Norwegian language through the communicative method of language instruction. We will give equal emphasis to all five language skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing, and culture. Authentic cultural materials will be used whenever possible.
