Class description
This course will examine the staffing process from two perspectives:that of the organization and the applicant. Students will learn how to understand the staffing process from an organizational perspective and learn how to develop an effective staffing process from the ground up. Students will also examine their own position in the staffing process as an applicant. Students will identify their own strengths and weaknesses and be given the opportunity to develop themselves into strong candidates who are ready to enter the workforce.

Instruction will consist primarily of case discussions, excercises, and lectures. Guest speakers will also be utilized to provide additional expertise in the areas of interviewing, recruiting, testing, etc.
